Minor Character

I think my favorite minor charcter in this novel was Marcus. Marcus was my favorite because for years no one understood him and why he cried so much, when in reality it was very simple to figure him out. He was killed by his own mother and i think he wanted everyone to know how he really died. I believe he wanted to let everyone know how he really died and who did it to him, he just didn't know how to tell them so he cried and screamed. He was a little baby he wanted someone to comfort him and for years no one could figure out how to make him stop until William came. William was a miss inderstood character and so was marcus I think thats why they had a connection. I think now that Finch knows what really happned to Marcus that he will be able to lighten and finally get out of the grave yard.

Taking Stock of Your Work

-I think I told my story very well.
-I did especially well on describing details so the reader can really picture what is going on in my story.
-I think I should have gave more detail to make my story a little bit longer.
- I went off of what I could remember from the night that I learned how to pronounce "sew"
-I began writing my first draft then i went back to it revised it and fixed it and made it into a final draft.
-I took the advise my peer editor gave me and used it to fix my story for the better, so that it would be more appealing to the reader.
-I don't know if I would change anything about how I went about doing my essay, I think I did a great job with details and I aslo like how i actually started days in advance instead of the night before to write my essay.

Another white dash

My dash would definitly have to be my family. I would say that most peoples dash in life is their family. Growing up my family members were the only people I could really count on to always be there for me. I grew up with my father being in the military, therefore I have moved several times in my life. Even if it wasn't my family that was moving it was my close friends moving, living on a military base is so hard becasue your friends are moving someone or your family is moving somewhere. it was so hard for me to keep friends but my family no matter what they were there for me. I can tell me family anything and i know that if i was ever to need someone I could call anyone of my family memebers and they would be there in a new york minute.

Another Dash in my life wouold have to be the moving part of having a father in the military. It's not easy being the new kid at a school. IN my life i have had to be the new kid 4 times.I would have to move away from everything that had become familiar to me. As soon as I would start to become comfortable qith a group of kids it was time for someone's father to be transfered to another base. When it was our turn to move that meant new school, new town, new kids to try and make friends with.
